Hi, I’m Courtnay, founder of Precision Tax Services Group.
My journey in tax preparation actually began at a small tax firm, where I learned the value of working closely with clients and treating every return like there’s a real person and a real life behind the numbers. More recently, I’ve spent my tax seasons preparing hundreds of returns through TurboTax Live, gaining experience with clients and tax situations from all across the country.
PTSG grew from wanting to bring the best parts of both of those experiences together.
I wanted to create the kind of tax service I would want to use myself—one that offers the smooth, convenient virtual experience you expect from a large platform, but with the personal attention and familiarity of working with your own tax professional. I want my clients to know who is preparing their return, feel comfortable asking questions, and never feel like they’re just another return in a queue.
I also wanted to do things differently when it comes to pricing. Tax preparation shouldn’t come with a long list of surprise charges simply because your return requires another form. My goal is to keep pricing transparent and straightforward, so you understand what you’re paying for from the beginning without watching your bill climb with every additional tax document.
Most importantly, I started PTSG because tax time already comes with enough worry. My job is to take as much of that worry off your shoulders as I can—while making sure your return receives the care, attention, and accuracy it deserves.
